I hope you are having a relaxing Sunday. I am exhausted after going to an anual event yesterday at The Music Academy of the West. On the first Saturday in May they have and event called 'May Madness' which is an estate sale of all the treasures they have recieved as donations throughout the prior year. The money raised from this event benefits their full-scholarship fund. It's a wonderful experience and the setting is fantastic. The Music acedemy resides on what was once the home of Mr. and Mrs. John P. Jefferson who named it Miraflores.

It wasn’t hard for me to fall in love with the Bavent French faience animals; they have a certain quirky charm that just speaks to you. When you look at one of these glazed terracotta creatures—maybe a sweet little bunny ( my favorite ) or a proud goose—you can feel the history of the Poterie du Mesnil de Bavent in Normandy shining through
