Filoli Gardens is one of my favorite places in the world! To experience a garden created early in the 19 hundreds and as extraordinarily well designed as this, it is almost like traveling back in time. Around every hedge and through every archway there is intrigue, romance, peacefulness and unparalleled beauty. The design of the garden depicts both the Georgian style as well as English Renaissance. The garden layout transports you from room to room as in a house, You can navigate the expanse of the garden without ever retracing your steps.
