Antique Art Nouveau Religious Medal Our Lady of D'Espinnasse, Catholic Pilgrimage Pendant
This beautiful, antique French religious medal is a souvenir pilgrimage medal from Notre Dame D'espinnasse. It has lovely Art Nouveau details and measures 3/4" wide by 1" long. The silver hallmark can be seen on the left side of the bale. This religious collectible medal has exceptional details. What an lovely Catholic gift it would be. Ref 1242
The church Notre Dame of D'espinnasse was built in the 15th century and is dedicated to the Virgin Mary. It is located in the French region of Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes and town of Aubusson It is listed as a historical monument in 1985. The communal cemetery is adjoining, forming a coherent whole with a small source located below which is reputed to treat dermatological pathologies.
