Vintage French Enamel Souvenir Bracelet, Architectural Icons of Paris
This lovely vintage souvenir bracelet is 6- 3/4" long, made up of ten interlocking enameled pieces which depict well known icons of Paris - Sacre Coeur, Palais de Chaillot, Eiffel Tower, L'Opera, Pantheon, Isle de la Cite •, Arc de Triompe, Dôme des Invalides, Notre Dame, L'Eglise de la Madeleine. Each brightly colored enamel is 5/8" long by 5/8" wide with some typical wear, NO chips or scratches.
•The coat of Arms for the city of Paris 'Isle de la Cite', is represented by a boat for two reasons, the ancient mariner people (the Natus) who populated the area and becaue the 'Isle de la Cite' is more or less shaped like a boat. Ref. 2135
