Vintage French Pyrogene, Vintage Cafe Barware Advertisement
This charming blue and white souvenir match striker (pyrogene) is the perfect piece of vintage French bistro memorabilia to add that iconic touch to your farmhouse kitchen. Pyrogenes used to be found on all tables of French cafes and bistros. In excellent condition this lovely French match striker advertises Apollinaris, a German naturally sparkling mineral water. It measures 3-3/4” diameter base x 2-1/4” diameter top x 2-3/4" high. I can’t truly date this one exactly but it’s most likely from the 1930s. Ref. Br 2150
