Mens Antique Edwardian Collar Box
This wonderful Edwardian mens collar box was made in London England circa 1910. It's a tall oval antique leather box used to store those oh SO very starched collars and cuff (3 collars come with the box). It would have been considered a clothing accessory. Over the years the leather has developed a beautiful patina and is in excellent condition. Adding a little more charm are two ink stains on one of the the cover pieces (Photo 3 & 5). I haven't encountered an antique leather box like this that held both cuffs and collars before! It's a super find. This antique collar box measures 6" in diameter x 3.5" tall. It has unending uses as a storage box and it's a perfect antique photography prop.
