Antique Victorian Mourning Brooch
This stunning Beaux Arts antique mourning brooch is truly a treasure. It was made in France during the Victorian Era. You could use it in a jewelry assemblage too. The outer design consists of vines and flowers, a typical theme for that time period. The delicate floral wreath in black circles the photo of a loved one on this fine piece of Victorian mourning jewelry. It is in excellent antique condition, measures 1" in diameter and has a C pin clasp at the back. This does not have a locking pin clasp. The photograph can be easily replaced with a piece of rare fabric, another old photo or a detail from a drawing, the possibilities are endless.
