The back mark on this worn to perfection Livery button is  is G & Cie Paris 26. It was made in France, circa the 1920s and measures 1-1/16" diameter. This antique crown button (buton livrée) is associated with the French nobility and aristocracy. This lovely rounded soft silver colored crown button represents the title of Comte. They are wonderful and timeless accents for upcycling, reclaiming, reviving creative projects for example; jewelry making, scrapbooking and of course using as buttons! Ref. B952.
