This pretty little vintage shell keepsake box was sold as a souvenir. The interior is lined with beautiful shade of red velveteen which is also on the base. There is a little matching red ribbon to lift the lid. This sweet little oval shaped box that would look lovely as part of a vintage display, a group of boxes like this create a point of interest in a room that will become a conversation piece. Displaying them with books and other collectibles will add a touch of costal kitsch to your home decor. This piece is in very good vintage condition with just one little vertebra missing from the back top edge (see photo 2).
