The luster of this five decade mother of pearl rosary is extraordinary. The authentic shell box has a simple yet decorative metal edge and it too has a stunning patina from years of prayer and faith. The lovely French silver crucifix is highly detailed with fleur de lis in each point and INRI above the Christ’s head. The center or ‘heart’ of the rosary is a silver openwork heart within that is a flaming heart with a flower above it, piercing the flaming heart is an anchor on the right and a cross on the left, faith, hope and charity.
This is a collectors piece!!
Both the shell box and the mother of pearl rosary are in excellent antique condition; the Rosary measures 15" long. The heart center is 1-3/8" long x 3/4"wide, the Crucifix is 1.5” x 3/4” The Box is 2.5” long by 1.5” wide.
