This antique wooden rosary is a beautiful and very rare the workmanship is exceptional. It’s an exquisite 43" long collectible French over bed rosary, a souvenir of Lourdes. Each of the wooden beads on this wall rosary has been carved by hand. The 1”x 1” ‘heart’ is heart shaped and has the words 'Souvenir de ND Lourdes' and ‘Coeur Immaculatede Marie Protez Nous’ on the reverse. The disc just above the cross has a crack and the words 'Souvenir de ND Lourdes' and ‘Coeur Immaculatede Marie Protez Nous’ on the reverse. This large antique French over bed wall rosary it is an extraordinary piece of devotional work. It has been part of my collection for many many years, the rosary from the 1910s. It is a true treasure to add to your Catholic collectables. The crucifix is 3.-1/8" long and 2" wide and has many details inscribed. On the front; ‘Mere de Jesus’ -’ Notre Dame de Lourdes de Vous Consacre’ ant the bottom “Mon Coeur Piax” On the Back INRI Servire - ‘Domino Christo’ - along with other light carvings.
