This set of 4 authentic Terre de Fer dinner plates each feature a different opera scene. They are Faust #12, Le Chalet #4, Mignon #11, Lucie de Lammermoor #9. The plates measure 10" diameter. This lovely set of antique French Opera plates were made by Creil et Montereau between 1880-1920. All have wear to the gold rim border and transfer printing which feature vignettes of the greatest French Operas. They all have fading, commiserate with age and use but have no visible chips. This listing is for the 4 excellent condition opera plates. One Robin Des Bois plate #8 will be included as a gift (it has a hairline imperfection). Ref 2176
