Vintage Monogrammed Linen Tea Towels

45.00

These Beautiful 19th Century, antique French linen tea towels are particular favorites of mine because of their 'hand' (the way the feel). They have two red stripes that intersect with each other on all corners and a finely cross-stitched monogram D.M. on the upper left side. These beautiful monogrammed linens have been hemmed by hand. Cloths like this were a common feature of French kitchens and become (whiter) and softer with every wash. They are of high quality, durability and exquisite drape. They would be perfect for your country French Decor and a wonderful present for that Francophile friend of yours!
Size; 28-1/2" x 30-1/2" This listing is for ONE exquisite towel.

Please Read;
It's common for these kinds of cloths to have small flaws and imperfections in the linen, metis or cotton fabric. Sometimes there are small discolorations or fold marks due to the age of some of the cloths however these have no obvious imperfections. All this is normal and it's a sign of their age and authenticity.
