A lovely group of 5 antique buttons that are associated with the French aristocracy. They are 19th century historical buttons with intriguing Coat of Arms designs. They are called livery buttons and their history is rooted in the Noble families of France. These vintage French livery buttons are so beautifully detailed that they will make a stunning accent on clothing, incorporated into jewelry pieces or scrap-booking. Vintage supplies such as these rare buttons will be lovely any way you chose to use them.

•The decorative / symbol closet to the front is 
5/8" made by the A M & Cie in Paris 1849 - 1854

• The monogrammed button s-F-r 
3/4" made by Meunier Freres in Paris.
• The Marquis Crown button
5/8" made by T. W. & T (Trelon-Weldon-Weil ) in Paris 1844 - 1970
the majority of their work was produced from 1851-1870.
