This antique French rosary has beautiful oval mother of Pearl beads. Each of the Five decades are separated by a silver bead. The crucifix has a dove at the top, the blessed virgin Mary at the bottom, the right has the grotto at Lourdes and the Left has the Lourdes cathedral. Lourdes is written on the back. The round center has St. Bernadette at the Grotto of Lourdes on the back, the front reads 'Ave Maria' in a stylized script with a fluer de lis below it. The Lilly, fleur de lis symbolizes the purity of the Virgin Mary and is often used to decorate shrine or grottos dedicated to her.
