This lovely vintage silver was a Trophy for the Santa Barbara County Riding Club. It was made by the F. B. Rogers Silver Co as a reproduction of the traditional Paul Revere bowl. It measures 7-3/4" diameter by 3-1/2". You can see the award engraving on the interior of this equestrian trophy bowl 'S.B.C.R.C. Fall 1964'. The classic simplicity of the Revere bowl is so beautiful, they are elegant yet blend easily with almost all types of decor. Silver serving bowls enhance every interior in the most lovely way from the most intimate country cottage to outstanding manor houses. They can be it a catchall for your mail, a serving bowl full of beautiful Christmas ornaments, a bowl of flowers or fruit for your centrepiece they are so versatile! It has a very small dent on the rim (easily straightened) and there is one spot of copper showing through on the interior (photo 2). On the bottom, the hallmark is F.B. Rogers Silver Co. and the words "Paul Revere Reproduction". Ref. 4177
